Attorney Patrick C. McGuinness has over eleven (11) years experience as an attorney and over twenty three (23) years of diverse experience as an advocate for immigrants. Beginning in the mid-1980s, Mr. McGuinness assisted individuals applying for political asylum while serving as a volunteer at El Paso’s Annunciation House (a non-profit organization) and, more recently, while working at several of the most respected law firms in New York and New Jersey, he represented major U.S. corporations in obtaining nonimmigrant (E, H-1B, L, O, P, R) work visas for their employees. Mr. McGuinness also has many years experience as a litigator representing individuals and corporations in complex matters in federal and state courts in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
