Raquel Montenegro, Esq.
Raquel holds the position of Counsel at the firm where she has been practicing Immigration Law focusing primarily in Asylum and Cancellation of Removal Cases before the Immigration Court.
Raquel joined the team at the Law Offices of Patrick C. McGuinness LLC in May 2019.
Prior to joining our team, Raquel represented clients in Florida mainly in Domestic Relations and Probate cases. Additionally, she volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem for children in dependency proceedings.
While in law school, Raquel assisted immigrants filling out DACA applications, did an internship with the Consumer Protection Office for Broward County, Florida, and a legal internship in London, England.
Raquel is originally from El Salvador and has been in the United States for over 20 years. As an immigrant herself, Raquel has personal experience with how the stress of being in a foreign culture affects an immigrant’s life paths and decisions.
In her spare time, Raquel enjoys spending time with her family, playing ice hockey, and being outdoors.
